summer TRACK PROGRAM

OPEN TO: Boys and Girls from any town- Age 3.5-14 (must turn age 4 during 2025) from any town

PRACTICE DAYS: Mondays & Wednesdays, June 16 - July 23, 2025

PRACTICE TIME: Age 3.5-6: 6:05 pm - 7:05 pm

Age 7-14 : 6:00 pm - 7:10 pm

CHOOSE A TEAM: Pick Sprint team or Distance team

PRACTICE LOCATION: DeFazio Field, 360 Dedham Avenue, Needham MA 02492

ONLINE REGISTRATION: Register by April 20, 2025: $219 per child $575 maximum per family ~~~~Register after April 20, 2025): $229 per child $599 maximum per family. You can register online or by check through the mail. We do provide scholarships where needed.

MORE ABOUT summer TRACK

We place children in teams by age and team type (Sprint or Distance, Age 3.5-4, or Age 5-6). The program is suitable for those serious about track and field and wanting to compete in meets as well as those with a more casual interest who want exercise and to develop their running skills.

In addition to running, we provide instruction in hurdles technique and various field events (including long jump, high jump, turbo jav, and shot put).

A typical Sunday session might include

- Warm up and Stretching

- Running drills

- Event skills training

- Recovery
